Hong Kong is the place to be

I’ve been living in Hong Kong for a few days now.  Slowly but surely, I’m feeling more and more familiar with this beautiful city.  Yesterday, for the first time, I traveled around by myself…to one of the busiest areas called Tsim Sha Tsui.  On Wednesdays, the Hong Kong Space Museum and Hong Kong Museum of Art offers free admissions to the exhibition floors. Sweet!!! With my brand new Octupus card in hand, I was ready to hit the road.  Oh wait…right.  Octupus card.  Hahaha…how do I explain.  It’s a rechargeable smart card that can be used towards all kinds of things: Transportation (train, lightrail, bus, even taxis!!!)….you can also use it towards purchases at convenient stores, retails, etc.  It’s the best!!!

So I went! It was nice just to be out myself.  Walking around the city can be quite intimidating.  There are a million people walking up and down the streets next to you.  Man! People in Hong Kong can freakin powerwalk!!! I’m constantly feeling like I’m moving in slow motion.  Hahahahaha
